[CHALLENGE]Lena Waithe’s Legacy Talk podcast needed a visual identity that could match the weight of its conversations—intimate yet grand, modern yet timeless. The goal was to create a visual world that felt at home both on magazine covers and large-scale billboards, establishing a signature look that would immediately captivate audiences.

[SOLUTION]I was tasked with designing the look and feel of the cover art for Legacy Talk, as well as overseeing the entire shoot to ensure a seamless fusion of photography, lighting, and typography. The creative direction took cues from high-end editorial aesthetics, focusing on rich textures, cinematic composition, and a refined color palette that enhances the essence of the conversations.
The result is a striking set of visuals that not only define the podcast’s identity but also function as standalone works of art. The typography was carefully selected to complement the visual storytelling, reinforcing the podcast’s sophisticated yet welcoming tone. Every shot was meticulously crafted to ensure that Legacy Talk lives up to its name—leaving a lasting visual imprint.
