[SOLUTION]As the Creative Director and Executive Producer, I led the conceptualization and execution of the second chapter of Hall of Black Beauty. We transformed Lena Waithe’s Hollywood Hills home into an editorial-style space that balanced sophistication with warmth—creating the perfect atmosphere for these deeply personal conversations.

I oversaw every detail of production, including the press shoot, photography direction, interview development, and on-set coverage, ensuring each founder’s story was captured with care and intention.
The interviews highlighted each brand’s early beginnings, triumphs, and impact, reinforcing the value of representation and visibility within the beauty industry.

This chapter of Hall of Black Beauty created space for vulnerability and celebration, allowing audiences to connect with the faces and stories behind the products. The result was a series that deepened consumer appreciation and solidified Sephora’s commitment to amplifying Black-owned brands in both a meaningful and visually compelling way.
